President's Message
We would like to thank David A. Peters Insurance, Inc. for providing such an informative presentation on how best to navigate today’s complicated insurance needs. (Our luncheons take place on the first Tuesday of every month from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Terrace Restaurant in Walnutport.) On February 2 our keynote speaker will be Slatington Borough’s new manager, Stephen Salveson. We look forward to meeting him and working together for the betterment of our area!
The March 2 lunch will feature The Chamber’s Mike Schlossberg, our expert on social networking, to help us understand how to use the benefits of online networking and integrate it into the current business networking you already do. Don’t miss these luncheons as we start the New Year running!
The 2010 Spirit Award will be given out in April and we need nominations! The Spirit Award is given to a member of the Greater Northern service area who best exemplifies community involvement and volunteerism. Slatington Trailhead Update! We would like to offer our most heartfelt thanks Blue Ridge Communications and PennTeleData for their contribution to the project! Each has donated enough to place signage on the building. In addition, PennTeleData has agreed to provide a WiFi hotspot at the trailhead location!
